For over 20 years, Brantford Local Computer Guru SYD BOLTON has dreamed of opening a museum to
showcase the history of personal computers. Many children have no idea about life before a
‘mouse’, when ‘green screens’ ruled the day, and a time well before the Internet was available
to everyone. Relive your earlier computer days or find out how we roughed it in the 70’s and
80’s.
Over 45 interactive computer displays, over 1,000 computers in total. And many more! Many working models you can play with! The Personal Computer Museum has taken over the free computer giveaway program from the former Brant FreeNet. The museum is next open on Saturday, February 18, 2012If you are interested in having an audio guided tour for your next visit, download the audio tour guide MP3 (39 MB) and put it on your iPod, cell phone or other music player. This 55 minute tour gives you detailed information about each and every machine on display. We are always looking to expand our collection. Please check out our most wanted page for the machines we are after. We are the perfect place to recycle old computers, so bring them to us during our open houses. Recyling computers is important to us. You can also donate money and computers to the Wil Morin Memorial Computer Giveaway for Kids. We are looking for a bigger location! If you can help us out, let us know! We are transitioning to become the Personal Computer & Video Game History Museum.
