Release Date: 1/1/1983
Manufacturer: Atarisoft
This is the Vic-20 port of the era-defining arcade game. Unfortunately, it is not Atarisoft's best work. The Pac-Man theme plays after each death and, while this song is an enjoyable part of the beginning of each game, it really slows down game play. The maze is simplified somewhat and there is considerable flickering as the sprites move around the screen. The collision detection, while strong from a programming standpoint, has an awkward look to it - most particularly when two sprites collide with each other and create something of a "black hole" in the maze.

Atarisoft was a division of Atari that produced games for a variety non-Atari hardware.
