The Amiga 2000HD was essentially a souped up Amiga 2000. Included with the base machine was a Commodore 2091 SCSI controller with a 40MB hard drive attached. The controller was also capable of acting as a memory expansion device by simply plugging the appropriate RAM chips in. The 2000 series led the way to the development of the Video Toaster, which made the Amiga a popular choice with television studios.
