This Intel 8088 based unit was one of the first PC compatible machines to ship with a built-in 3.5” disk drive. The Tandy machines of this era had a much friendlier boot process than a standard PC, with a version of DOS built right into the ROM of the machine. A Deskmate software bundle was also included and the machine is capable of CGA graphics. With only 256 KB of RAM, you were limited to what programs would work but this was an entry level machine. The memory expansion was not industry standard unfortunately, and Tandy did not manufacture a hard drive for this unit (although some third party vendors did).
