This Canadian based company produced the Orangepeel, a decent Apple II clone that had an external keyboard and good looking case. Their products were distributed by Compusource in Minneapolis, MN. The company was very forward thinking with the design of their computers, having the actual CPU placed on a replaceable daughter card with the thought of extending the life and purpose of the computer as new developments became available.
Orange Computer was founded by Roman Wynnyckyj. After Apple effectively bankrupted Orange Computer by blocking the sale of the machines (even though, according to Wynnyckyj and by the design of the computer, no Apple copyrights were violated), Wynnyckyj founded Lava Computer which turned out to be very successful.
It is unknown what happened to all of the computers that were held in customs.
